Value of Failure

A boy is crying silently.
His dad came to him and asked him,
“What is it, Son?”
The boy weep and said,
“Dad, I’ve failed to be number one in the class”
Upon hearing it, His dad smiled,
“Son, do you know someone who never failed in his/her life?”

The boy shaked his head..

“Son, if someone never failed in his/her life it means that he/she is not aiming high enough. Even the greatest people in the history of the planet failed during certain period.”

The boy listened very carefuly to his dad..

“The great engineer, Thomas Alfa Edison failed so many times before inventing light bulb lamp. The great athlete, Michael Jordan, had to failed 7 years before winning a championship ring. And Even the great prophet, Muhammad, had to struggle years and years of cruel rejection from his own people before he could be one of the most influential human being ever. Kiddo, real succes happens if and only if you have overcome a failure.”

And that is the value of a failure, it defines the definition of success.
